In this tutorial, you'll learn how to navigate the RosettaHub Federated Dashboard -- the single pane of glass for managing cloud resources across AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, OVH, and OpenStack. You'll understand the main interface components and perform basic operations.

Prerequisites

  • [ ] RosettaHub account credentials
  • [ ] Access to at least one cloud account

Steps

Step 1: Log In to RosettaHub

Navigate to your RosettaHub URL and enter your credentials.

Tip

Bookmark the login page for quick access.

Step 2: Explore the Dashboard

After logging in, you'll see the Federated Dashboard with these main areas:

Area Purpose
Sidebar Navigate to different panels
Toolbar Actions for the current view
Panel Area Your workspace with tabs
Status Bar Notifications and status

Step 3: Open Your First Panel

  1. Look at the sidebar on the left
  2. Click on Formations
  3. A new panel opens showing your formations

Step 4: Understand Panel Controls

Each panel has its own toolbar with common actions:

  • Refresh - Reload the panel data
  • Filter - Search within the panel
  • Actions - Operations for selected items

Step 5: Arrange Your Panels

Panels can be arranged to suit your workflow:

  1. Drag a panel tab to move it
  2. Drop it on an edge to split the view
  3. Resize panels by dragging borders

Step 6: Save Your Layout

Save your panel arrangement as a Perspective:

  1. Click the Perspectives menu
  2. Select Save Perspective
  3. Enter a name and click Save
