Domains¶
DNS domain management for cloud resources across the MetaCloud.
Domains are DNS domain registrations managed through the MetaCloud. They map to hosted zones on your cloud provider (e.g. Route 53 on AWS) and let RosettaHub assign subdomains to formations and SSL certificates automatically.
Actions¶
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Add Domain | Register a new domain with its hosted zone and DNS driver |
| Retrieve Domain | Import existing domains from a cloud key's account |
| Add SSL Certificate | Create an SSL certificate linked to this domain |
| Share | Grant access to users, groups, or organizations |
| Customize | Update label and metadata |
| Delete | Remove the domain |
Subdomain Control¶
Domains support subdomain includes and excludes, letting administrators control which subdomains users can provision. Shared domains enable multiple teams to issue certificates under the same root domain while maintaining isolation through subdomain scoping.
