SSL Certificates¶
TLS/SSL certificates provisioned and managed through the MetaCloud.
SSL Certificates are TLS/SSL certificates provisioned and managed through the MetaCloud. They are linked to a Domain and can be attached to any formation, so that machines launched by the formation are automatically secured with HTTPS.
Actions¶
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Add SSL Certificate | Create a new certificate for a domain |
| Add SSL Certificate Domain | Add additional domain names to an existing certificate |
| Renew SSL Certificate | Renew an expiring certificate |
| Set Main | Designate as the default certificate for your account |
| Share | Grant access to users, groups, or organizations |
| Customize | Update label and metadata |
| Delete | Remove the certificate |
Certificate Attributes¶
Certificates display their domain name, subdomains, key size, star (wildcard) status, and expiry time. When a formation references an SSL certificate, every machine it launches receives the certificate automatically -- no manual configuration per instance.
