Marketplace

Discover, share, and deploy formations, images, and portfolios.

Overview

The RosettaHub Marketplace is where users discover, share, and deploy formations, images, and portfolios. It serves as both a public catalog and an institutional self-service portal.

Marketplace Types

Marketplace Description
RH Marketplace RosettaHub's curated marketplace with verified formations and images
Public Marketplace Community-contributed formations and images shared by users

Institutions can also create private marketplaces by sharing formations and portfolios within their organization, creating a curated service catalog that only their users can access.

Browsing the Marketplace

  1. Open the Marketplace view from the dashboard
  2. Browse by category, tag, or search by keyword
  3. View formation details including description, components, and provider support
  4. Clone a formation to your workspace to customize and launch it

Publishing to the Marketplace

  1. Share the artifact with user "hub"
  2. Right-click the artifact and select Publish
  3. Configure the marketplace listing (description, tags, category)
  4. The artifact becomes available for others to discover, clone, and deploy

You can publish:

Artifact What Others Get
Formations A deployable environment template they can clone and launch
Images A machine image they can use in their own formations
Object Storages Shared datasets and storage resources others can access

Private Institutional Marketplaces

Organizations can build private marketplaces for their teams:

  • Curate formations approved for institutional use
  • Bundle data + compute -- formations that pre-mount institutional datasets
  • Control access -- only organization members see private marketplace entries
  • URL-based sharing -- share data-configured environments via link

This is a key mechanism for research institutions and enterprises to offer self-service cloud environments with governance guardrails.
